My Style

My approach is documentary-led, relaxed and focused on real connection over stiff posing.

Most of my couples tell me:

I’ll give gentle direction when needed, but most of the day I’ll quietly capture things as they happen naturally! The emotional moments, the chaos, the laughter, your nan crying during speeches, your mates screaming Mr Brightside at midnight.

So, what is it actually like having me at your wedding?

I’m not going to spend 8 hours shouting poses at you.

Most of the day, I blend in naturally and document things as they happen.

​

I’ll step in when needed:

​

  • family photos

  • couple portraits

  • timeline help

  • keeping things moving smoothly

​

(Until someone loses a buttonhole, a bridesmaid disappears or the veil starts attacking people in the wind. Then I become part-time wedding crisis management.)

But the rest?


You get to actually enjoy your wedding instead of performing for the camera all day.

Being a wedding photographer is about 40% photography and 60% keeping the day running smoothly. I’ve sewn dresses, fixed veils, tracked down missing groomsmen, organised wandering family members, calmed nervous brides, cleaned lipstick off teeth and somehow become an honorary bridesmaid, wedding coordinator and babysitter all at once. If chaos is happening on a wedding day, there’s a good chance I’m quietly fixing it while taking photos too. 📸😂

Most couples book me for full-day coverage, meaning I'm there from the excitement of getting ready right through to the dance floor chaos. That way, I can capture the complete story of your wedding day without you having to worry about watching the clock.

That said, every wedding is different, and I'd much rather recommend the right coverage for your day than squeeze everyone into the same package.
